How to Take Smart Notes

The claim: notes are worth keeping only if they are linked, and a collection of linked notes eventually says things you did not put into it.

Three stars because the method is oversold and the argument is not. The argument is the reason this site has one tree instead of a folder of pages: if a page is a document with an address, other pages can point at it, and the pointing is where the value accumulates.

What is still missing here

Backlinks. The server tracks document links and can answer "what points at this?", and nothing in this module asks it yet. It is the most obvious unbuilt thing on this site.
