First light

Not a photograph. This gradient was generated by the seeder at boot — about forty lines of zlib and a CRC, written into a PNG and uploaded like any other file.

It exists because the Wall shipped empty for several releases, on the reasonable grounds that a seeder has no images to upload and stock photography has no business appearing on somebody else's site. The cost was that the Wall was the one page type nobody could look at, so its lightbox and its presence anchoring stayed unverifiable.

Drop a real image anywhere on the Wall and it replaces this one.
