The last waypoint, and the one that sits far enough north to make the projection obvious: near the poles a flattened map stretches distance badly, and a leg drawn here looks nothing like the same distance drawn near the equator.

Nothing here corrects for that, because nothing should — the map is a map. It is worth knowing when reading one, which is the only reason this waypoint is this far up.
